The 2016 season was year 3 of the partnership between NAPA Auto Parts and Stafford. NAPA continued as the title sponsor of the Spring Sizzler and Fall Final events as well as the NAPA SK 5k. The fan vote and the Gambler’s Challenge returned for the NAPA SK 5k event. The fans voted once again on the number of laps for the feature, how the starting lineup would be set, and how the Gambler’s Challenge would be distributed. Ted Christopher won the 100-lap race and in victory lane pulled the chip with the winner takes all for the Gambler’s Challenge, giving him a payday of $11,175.
2016 Stafford Track champions were Rowan Pennink in the SK Modified® division, Tom Fearn in the Late Model division, Tony Membrino, Jr. in the SK Light Modified division, Duane Provost in the Limited Late Model division, Johnny Walker in the DARE Stock division, and Noah Korner in the Legend Cars division.
